I now have a niece! My sister and her husband named her Molly Iris Smith. Iris was chose as a middle name after her grandmother. I was skeptical about 'Molly' as I think it's too much of a simple name to go with the very simple 'Smith' but I think the middle name really compliments it and they're very pretty names together.


And since I'm posting I may as well throw in another favourite name of a family member here. Suzanna Maya Estella King.
I love the way Suzanna is spelt(over Susanna/Susannah) and Estella was chosen based on my mums name, Estelle. It's a lot of ah-endings in one name I know, but it's the only interesting or cute name my parents have ever given their children! The others are...

I really like the name Molly Iris!

I like Susannah spelled this way, but not Suzanna, which looks trendy and trying too hard to be unique. I love the name, though, I'd just spell it differently.

molly iris is very nice. iris sounds..kind of harsh/elegant for a sweet/simple name like molly, but they're both lovely names.
