Are Layla and Alyssa too much for a sibset?
Would Leah and Alyssa be better?
I was thinking Leah/Layla Madeleine and Alyssa Juliet

What about Oliver Jonathan and Nathan Rhys?

Any ideas of other names I might like?

I like Layla and Alyssa, but it's only cause I really hate the name Leah.

I like Layla and Alyssa! They flow well when you say them together but are sufficiently different so it's not some dorky naming scheme.

Just wondering, do you know if they'll be same sex twins? If there's one girl and one boy, I like Layla and Oliver. Alyssa sounds pretty with Oliver as well, but that's the name of my younger, bratty cousin so it has bad connotations for me. :)

I actually prefer Leah and Alyssa, but that might be because I dislike the name Layla. If I ignore the fact that I don't like Layla, though, the names sound good together. And Alyssa Juliet is great!

Oliver Jonathan and Nathan Rhys is good too. =)

I don't think Layla and Alyssa are too similar ... I really don't like Layla, though, so Leah and Alyssa would definitely be my choice.

Oliver and Nathan sound good together as well, and I like all of the middle names you've listed.

Oliver Jonathan sounds too sing-song. Otherwise, I like your choices.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this, but I don't think Alyssa will age well. It sounds like an eight-year-old girl to me, and I also think it's kind of dated. I love all your other names. Juliet is way too awesome of a name to be just a middle, IMO. I would probably pick Leah over Layla, but I like either of them.

I love the boys' names, though. Oh, and congrats!

I prefer Leah and Alyssa as a set, but think Layla sounds better with Madeleine.

I really like Alyssa Juliet.

Oliver Jonathan is ok, and I like Nathan, but without Rhys.

Separately, I think Layla and Alyssa are ok. Together, I have a slight issue with both ending in the 'a' sound. I think something ending in the 'ee' sound might work better, such as Ruby, Penny, Annie, Lani/Larnie, Holly/Hollie, Carrie, Natalie... or Claire!

Together, I like:
Nathan Rhys and Oliver Jonathan (although, did you realise "Nathan"/Jo"Nathan"?)
Alyssa and Holly
Alyssa Juliet and Nathan Rhys

And in reply to someone else's comment, Alyssa will age very well. My name happens to be Alyssa, and it's aged quite well with me.
