Date: 2009-01-08 12:51 am (UTC)Marigold is absolutely adorable.
I'm pretty partial to Willow (it's my middle name and I love it).
I also like Sage and Sequoia.

Date: 2009-01-08 03:15 pm (UTC)So here is a tangent: It's so funny to me how names come and go. I was reading a book that was published in 2001, and it called Lily a choice for "upscale" parents. However, it did say that it had shown a "resurgence" in popularity with the rise of classic names. Fast forward to 2008 Lily is #10 on the list of most popular names.
Personally, I had a copy of this book when I was pregnant and I plan on using it again when I have another child. However, in the end, I went with Lily. It was always one of my favorite names, and for me it had meaning both literary and personal. Although, I do wish I had known that it had suddenly became the "in" name to have..

Date: 2009-01-08 05:14 pm (UTC)I have known girls named Tansy and Zinnia, though. I knew them a long time ago, though, so they'd be about 30 and 22 now, respectively.
