What do you think of the name Leisel?

Love Leisel!!! It is a great name,it is fun to say, and both Liesels that I know are uniformly awesome people. Plus, it rhymes with weasel. :)

I love it too! But I think we may be the only ones...

I prefer it without the second E, but I love it. Then again, The Sound of Music is probably my favourite movie of all time, and for quite a while Liesl was one of my favourite characters.

I pronounce Leisel like LYE-sel, which sounds very unattractive, IMO (I'm in The Netherlands). I don't like Liesl either, but I think it looks (and in my case: sounds) better than Leisel.

spelled with an ei, it doesn't rhyme with weasel. but with an ie it does.

I love Liesel, but Leisel doesn't have the same feel to me, and I'm not a big fan.

I don't think it's that bad. It's not a name I'd use, but there was a girl in my high school with that name and it suited her.

I went to school with a girl named Liesl Erin lastname.

Our teachers always joked "if your parents wanted to name you Lysol, they should've just done it..." lol

Yeah... Leisel sounds like somebody with a speech impediment saying "quieter" in German.

Reminds me of The Sound of Music. All in all, not bad.

Eh, too manly. I much prefer it on a guy.
