These are the names of my camp counselors' babies...not all of them, of course, since I don't remember all the names, but here are the names I remember.

GIRLS:
August
Betsy
Nova
Freya
Nellie (Eleanor, I think)

BOYS:
Cyrus

I forgot what Nellie's little brother's name was. I'm thinking it was Campbell?

WDYT? (Nova and Freya are sisters, I think four years old and six months respectively)

August is okay, Betsy and Nova are nice, Freya is not my style, Eleanor is okay, but I don't like Nellie that much as a nn, Cyrus is alright.

I like Nova and Freya. Not crazy about August - it sounds a bit masculine. Betsy and Nellie are nicknames IMO and I don't like either of them as full names. As nicknames they're perfectly acceptable I suppose, but a bit twee for my taste.

Cyrus is a funny one...I kinda like it but I think it sounds like a bad guy name. Like, from a movie.

August is a masculine name, isn't it? AugustA or AugustINE would have been marginally better.

Don't really like the name Cyrus. It always makes me think of Billy Ray and "Achey Breaky Heart."

Cyrus was the main bad guy in ConAir- Cyrus the Virus was his nickname. That is what I think of every time I hear it.

Strangely, I like Nova. I love August, but on boys only. Why not Augusta? And I love Eleanor.

Augustine is actually a male name. There's a St. Augustine, in fact.
