So I finally made a name list... I know my taste in names is ceratainly a bit "out there" but I think there are at least some decent nn possibilities, hehe. Not planning on having any babies anytime soon, I'm just a name addict. Please, feed my addiction! :P

I like Cordelia, Stella, Leda, and Beatrix.

Renata, Danica, Phaedra, and Ursula are incredibly ugly names- you'd have a job on your hands with that pronunciation of Danica.

Jocasta is okay, I like the nn Cass rather than the intuitive Jo; It just makes me think of the story of Oedipus and as namesakes go that isn't exactly wonderful.

Justine is dated, and Jaida is incredibly trendy. It looks bizarre with the other names.

I like Felix, Nicodemus (Nico is wonderful), and Jasper.

Percival is so old fashioned it's ridiculous, Percy and Val are horrible.
You'll never get RINE-er out of Rainer unless you live in Germany. If you don't then it looks like you gave you child a bad-weather inspired, somewhat depressing name.

Whoa, I'm actually so surprised people seem to like Nicodemus, I thought it was the craziest one on there! I think Nicodemus and Rainer would ONLY ever be used as middle names, theoretically - yeah, I totally agree with that last point, prn. is an issue.

LOL I know Jocasta has those awkward allusions. Again, middle name :)

Would you say Danica as Da-NEE-ka? That's the only other way I can imagine and the only person I know with this name says it the way I specified. Though that way sounds nice too I guess.

I dislike pretty much all your names, haha! I only love Phaedra and Matilda, I like Alaric, and I can deal with Felix and Justine. The rest are all plain ugly to me, especially Ursula...sorry!

But kudos to you for having such an original style! I like that.

Miranda - I knew a Miranda who went by Andi. I think the whole name sounds much better than any nickname, though.

Phaedra - One of my favorite names of all time!! I've always thought the nn. Faye would be nice. Or Aedra.
Matilda - I've always loved the nn. Tilly for this. I also knew a Matilda who went by Mattie.
Jocasta - One of my other favorite Greek names! Definitely a huge guilty pleasure for me. Could use the nn. Jo, too.
Beatrix - Bee. So cute. :o)

Alaric - I didn't know anyone else had ever heard of this name, haha.
Percival - Percy. Love it.

Part of me kind of likes something about Renata, but I feel as though I shouldn't. lol. I don't really like Ren though.
Danica - I've always heard dan-ih-ka. I like it with that pronunciation.
Cordelia/Cora - I like both.
Leda, Jocasta, and Beatrix I have mixed feelings on.

Alaric is kind of cool.
I think Percival would get some teasing and it's a bit pretentious, but it's neat to see something different.
I LOVE FELIX.
Nicodemus is so cool. Nico is cute too.

if you use Rainer, i'd spell it differently because he will ALWAYS be called Rainer. I'm not even sure how that can be pronounced as RINE-er? maybe spell is like Reiner?
