While in the hospital last week, I saw a birth announcement at a nurses' station.

BRINKLEE MICHELLE

Mercy.

I just can't see myself calling a child Brinklee. You?

In a word: no. I can't even think of a nn she could use...Lee?

I could see it if it were Brinkley. No spelling of it is a name that I would use, but I don't think it's actually that bad.

I thought of the Disney movie "Brink" and it made me laugh.

I knew someone who loved the name Brinklyn and had intentions of naming her daughter that. I think the nickname she had set was Brinky though not Brinkley or Brinklee. I haven't heard from her in forever, so I don't know if she still does.

it could be worse. i'm definitely not a fan, but if i came across someone with that name (preferably spelled brinkley), i'd think it was odd, but not terrible.

I can barely see myself calling a dog Brinklee. It seems like a name destined for a trailer park, lol.

Well... at least she has a decent middle name? ;)
