I need some suggestions for girl names that start with either the letter
"A" or the letter "T." Prefferably "T." It needs to be a name that is not ordinary, but not totally out there because the expectant mother is from the projects while the father is from the upper middle class, so they are looking for a happy medium for names. All they have so far is the name Trinae (pronounced Tri-nay) and Arledia (pronounced Ar-lee-dah). They can't agree on either... thanks for your time and suggestions!

..How is Arledia (with that pronunciation, especially) not "out there"? Especially considering that a quick Google search leads only to links for discontinued DVD-Rs?

I would definitely consider Arledia to be "out there", and tbh I find Trinae to be very trashy.

Trinae and Arledia both sound trashy to me. How do they get Ar lee dah out of the -ia ending?

How on earth can Arledia be prn'd that?
It spells out Ar-lee(leh)-dee-ah.

I'm going to suggest Arlene instead.

Antonia [Ant-toe-knee-a] or [ant-ta-knee-a]. First is Italian pronunciation, second is the Greek. Hope it helps.

By the way, if it helps, I've never met someone who shares that name with me.

ick Trinae and Ardelia both make me sad... they seem like very trashy names. They also remind me of trashy words in spanish so double ick. Now that that is out of my system... I think that as much as I know it matters... it shouldn't really matetr where they are from right? They both speak english, yes? Both their familes speak the same language? Ok I am guessing the answer to that is yes too so what exactly is the problem?

See my family almost only exclusively speaks spanish (except for my siblings and I) and the english my parents speak carries a thick, obvious hispanic accent. In this case it would be understandable for me to name a name that goes both ways with them (easy to pronounce in english and spanish) but that is a language barrier thing...

Just my two cents.
