New Job, New Names
Nov. 12th, 2008 11:44 amI now work with about 1000 people, so I can't list everyone, but I was wondering what people thought of the names of my co-workers and their kids? These are the ones that I either really liked, or thought were interesting/unusual:
Adrian (most adoreable boy in the world, ever)
Aida (pron I-E-Dah)
Marlin (dutch, m)
Dee (Indian, m)
Amarie
Jesus (spanish, pronounced 'hey-zus')
Trevin (American)
Ester
Danica (italian woman)
Cordy (American m, that's his full name)
Cassidy
Tobias
Pheobe
Allora (Italian lady, who's dad was French and who's mother was canadian, lived in Italy til she was 14, then moved to the UK)
Please to note that nationalities refer to the people and not the names.
Thoughts?

No italian would ever think of it as a name!

Re: Lol I noticed the same thing
Date: 2008-11-12 05:57 pm (UTC)They don't do word names, for example. They only go as far as color names.

Date: 2008-11-12 07:32 pm (UTC)I guess I have a pretty good idea about what the name (good and bad) traditions are around here ;)
But I agree that they're bound to fall into any mad trend as any other nation heh!

Date: 2008-11-16 02:23 am (UTC)I could tolerate Adrian, Marlin, Dee, Ester, Cassidy, and Tobias.
I dislike Amarie, Trevin, Cordy, and Allora.
I hate Jesus, Danica, and Pheobe.
