Paul Aidan, what do you think? It's the name my characters gave their son in a story, the dad is 17 and mom 16.
Also!
What do you guys tink of the name Memphis for a girl? I like Memphis Evelyn BUT I do know that there's a certain singer/songwriter/actor/everything else he can think of doing whose eldest daughter is named Memphis Eve... Which sucks since I found out right after I started liking the name (what i it with me liking name like that!? >.<), so I don't think I'd use Memphis Evelyn.... Evelyn is also a family name for me... of the side of my family I would not name a dog after =) which sucks cause they have pretty names too... ANYHOW... Maybe for a character in the future?
Thanks for the opinions!

I really like Paul Aidan. Memphis...not so much. I don't hate it or anything, but I just think it doesn't have a very nice sound to it. It's better than Elvis though (some Dutch semi-famous person named his daughter that!)

I think Aidan Paul seems far more plausible than Paul Aidan. Most people who combine trendy names with names that are less On Trend do so because they like the sound of the trendy one. They can see themselves calling their kid that name; it feels right. But then the less trendy one is often a family name or one that has personal significance, so typically gets the middle name slot.

On a different but more statistically demonstrable level, English speaking parents are FAR more likely to use a two syllable first name with a one syllable middle name than the other way around.

I only like Memphis for a boy. It's one of my friend's top names, I think that it's gorgeous and sounds so nice, but I see it as quite masculine.
