I'm not very close to my cousin at all, so when my Grandmother told me that she had named her newborn baby boy Newly I thought okayyyyyyyy and didn't say another word. Two days ago, months after the baby boy who I thought was Newly was born I saw my cousin in a store. I was like... awwwww how's little Newly??? I swear she almost slapped me. His name is Noely. I like this much much better.

Anyways, little Noely's older brother's name is Jed. Jed isn't short for anything.

All three are bad, but I kinda chuckled at Newly and Jed, if that was really the sibset. Two "TVLand" names! Anyone else catch that?

Is Noely a real name? I know Noel is but Noely seems like such a nickname. Better than Newly though! lol. And better than Jed too..

I don't like Noely that much either to be honest. But it's better than Newly.

What was wrong with Noel?

Sing along with me now...

Come listen to a story about a man named Jed
A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed....

Lol, sorry thats the first and only thing that comes to mind. Noely sounds more like a girls name to me, and I dont like it on either gender regardless.

Noely sounds like a nn for a little GIRL, not a full name on a boy, and Jed should be a nn for Jedidiah or something. =/
