3) Florence - f, hn (my aunt's middle name)
4) Oh, goodness, I have no idea. I know for sure that if I have a boy, I want to name him Benjamin James, so yeah, James is a likely candidate for a mn. Or, Daniel, after my cousin who drowned a few years back. As for girls, it will probably end up being a name that I really love, but I don't have enough girls to use it on. Or I might dig into my family tree a little, find names (for either gender) from there. So, yeah :P
5) Just one, more than likely.
6) Nope. I will call him or her by their name. Unless the initials happen to form a cute nn, like AJ, for example. Even then, it probably wouldn't be a nn used all the time, just sometimes.

Date: 2008-10-23 09:47 am (UTC)Clair - f, hn
2. Do you like your middle name?
Very much. The nane itself, and there's such good meaning behind it.
I wasn't crazy about when I was younger, the spelling was problematic; but actually now I like that. Claire/Clare is generally well liked, but Clair is obscure enough that people don't have negative connotations of it.
3. What are your siblings middle names?
Thomas - m, ip/other (I suggested it, inspired by my favourite tv show. But ultimatly my parents agreed so they must have just liked it)
4. What are three names you are likely to use as middle names for your own children (please limit to three children of each sex)?
Male; Richard, Jude, Edward (hn, other [the song], hn)
Female; Lily, Jane, Caroline (all are to honour people)
5. How many middle names do you intend to use?
One per child (or one mn, and then my last name as a second mn)
6. Do you intend to call your child by their middle name or a nickname from their middle name?
Not really; maybe a nn that involved their mn somehow, but not outright.
And I'd leave the option open in case they decided for themselves to go by their mn instead.

3. brother's initial is P.. mine used to be A until I got a middle name
I don't intend to have kids, I just like names so I lurk here. However if I do have kids, they will have two middle names each, the first middle name will be theirs, the second middle name will be my maiden name. They will go by their first name or a nickname from that first name.
