I read that article earlier; the parents who went out of their way to name a second child after a President stood out to me. And the fact that they failed to mention his name is Carter, as in, Jimmy Carter.

They write about Kaitlyn/Kaitlin/Caitlyn as if they're this huge new trend, when they're really not. Why wouldn't you just keep the O and name her Phoenix? I just don't get why you would spell it Phenix and make it look like nobody in your family knows how to spell.

The noun names, I have the least amount of issues with. I like more than a few noun names. Irish and Italian really don't sound all that glamourous or anything. I still can't believe that Genesis is a name. And that it's as popular as it is.
