So I just found out that the name of my cousin's son is spelled Gaige, not Gage. So his full name is Gaige Anthony.

WDYT of the spelling? Honestly it does little to endear the name any more to me, but I've seen pictures and at least he's an adorable baby!

It makes me think of gauge, like in piercings or equipment.
I prefer Gaige to Gage.

My first response was No! No extra letters!, but really, as I look at it, it's not so bad. I think it was just an instinctual response due to all of the creative spellings these days. Gaige Anthony sounds nice enough too.

I think that the name, and every spelling of it, is completely awful. Gaige makes it look even more like they spelled 'gauge' wrong.

The spelling of Gaige makes the name look more feminine, IMO. Maybe because it looks close to Paige now.

I would really prefer Anthony Gaige. I figure in middle names the spellings can be a little more creative, and I think that flows better anyway. But it's not terrible.

The name as a whole... not bad. And, I think as he grows up and becomes a person, you'll get used to it. It will become part of his identity and you won't be able to find another name that fits him better.
