A family friend's grandson was born yesterday!
It's a boy, and his name will be either Jordan Thames or Caiden Thames.
Parents are Cameron and Sarah.

WDYT?

I would say Jordan hands down, but I'm going to have to admit I actually like the sound of Caiden Thames a lot!

Are they saying Thames like the English river, as in "Temms", or as "Thayms"?

I never thought I'd say this, but Caiden in this case. Spelled Caden.

Because Jordan + Thames is too "rivery" for me.

Oh god me too let's make this our little secret. I know it's stupid and trendy, but of the "rhymes with Aidan" names, I do like this one, spelled Caden. I love the way it sounds. I feel bad about it and would never use it, but I still like it. =P

That said, Jordan was ruined for me by a bratty kid I coached, so I say Caden!

I don't really like either of them; I'm not a Jordan or a Caiden fan. Thames is nice, different. At first glance, I originally thought that it said Thomas.

Careful, if you say that, someone looking for a "kewl" spelling of Thomas might just latch onto it and name her poor child Thames "pronounced Thomas."

I absolutely hate Jordan on a boy so I'm voting for Caiden.
