I love, love, love Seamus Augustine and I'm only okay about Sloan. The girls' names aren't really my style, but I like Ita the best. Is it said like Ida? If so, I prefer that spelling.

Jean just seems kind of dated to me. How about Jane?

I love both boys names, but I don't like any of the girls names haha.

I love Jean, but I don't like any of the first names. If I had to pick, I'd probably go with Sabia.

I like the way Seamus sounds, just not that spelling. I don't mind Augustine. Not crazy about Sloan because to me it sounds more like just a last name, and take away the s and you've got the word loan, which rhymes with moan, so my mind goes to thoughts of kids teasing with that.

Ita just sounds incomplete to me. It sounds like the rest of the name is missing. And since you said it's pronounced "eat-uh" then my mind goes to kids teasing "Ita, eat uh this" or "Ita, are you eating a *type of food*". =/

Jean, makes me think of jeans, so I don't like it.
Riley, to me is a last name, and over used I think.
Regan makes me think of ex president Ronald Regan. If it's pronounced "ray-gun", if it's "ree-gun" I actually would drop the R, because lately I've been really liking Egan (prn Ee-gun)
Sabia, makes me link of labia. =/ :X

I have to second this, since I know a guy whose last name is Sabia. He was often called Labia behind his back.

Seamus may be the traditionally known spelling, but I prefer words to be spelled closer to how they are pronounced. So I would probably go with either Shamus/Shamis or Shaemus/Shaemis. Some people might spell it with a y, as Shaymus/Shaymis, but that would feminize it to me. I also know alot of people are staunchly against 'creative' spellings. I'm fine with different spellings for some names sometimes, as long as they are in keeping with proper phonetics. But that's me.
