I went and picked out the sweet new puppy for my mum and dad today - she's a light golden labrador and absolutely gorgeous!! I want to give them a name list to go through (to avoid a horrible name!). I want something short, that is easily called out to a puppy, that rolls off the tongue. Most of the names I like for her end in the 'ee' sound.

Just as a side note, I intend to get my own labrador in the future and have had his name picked out for 10 years - Jasper. What do you think?

My name is Georgia and so I can only view that as being a human name and not a dogs name... It's quite a mouthful for a dogs name, I mean, I scarcely get the full Georgia (mostly Georgie, Georgia, G). I do like Tully and I have know a few lovely dogs named Molly.

But don't you think your parents might like to pick the dogs name if it's theirs?

My grandparents had a shepherd for years called Bonnie, I love the name, she was an awesome dog.

Molly sounds perfect to me. A lot of the others I like too much as people names hehe.

My only other suggestion would be Penny ... a girl I knew when I was little had a dog like yours and named her this.
