Dec. 27th, 2004 05:50 pmhi, i'm new to the community and would like some serious opinions... i'm 27w5d pregnant and still have not come up with a name for my son! these are two of my current (but always changing) favorites - let me know which one you like better and WHY. thanks!
* Braeden (to be known as Brady)
i'm aware of the -aden craze and don't really want to become part of a fad, or a trend... but i have honestly liked this name for a very long time. i want him to be known as brady for all intents and purposes, but for the birth certificate would like to use the full name braeden. that way, if he doesn't like his name he has another option - plus, it sounds better for when he's older.
* Cullen
i wasn't that wild about this name when i first heard it, but now i can't get it out of my head. i think it makes a nice alternative to collin, and it's not very common which is something that also appeals to me. i don't like the fact that i couldn't really call him anything for short, but that's not really a big deal.
middle name is tenatively set at Micheal (my dad's name as well as my boyfriend's uncle's name), but that could change depending on what we chose for the first name. i really appreciate opinions - and if you don't like either name please tell me so, but still let me know which you think is the lesser of two evils! :)

Date: 2004-12-27 08:34 pm (UTC)Cullen is better, but I prefer Colin. Something about Cullen makes me think pseudoBritish.
Keep in mind I'm really picky about names.
