Some names...

Some names that have been floating around my head for girls recently....

Rayne - I really like this name and this spelling is cute to me (I much rather this than Rain)
Luna - My mom's stepmom's middle name and I love her so much and I would love to honor her by using this one day (I am named after my real grandmother, she died before I was born). It means Moon in spanish. Her first name is Marta and I am not too fond of that.
Aurora - Love the meaning behind this name and it's a name spanish and english speakers can prnounce.
Aura - I would never use Aura and Aurora, one or the other but same as above.
Willow - I adore this name, the only problem is that my hispanic family would be like 'huh?'

Rayne- too airy fairy. Rayne is a bad spelling, it looks terribly trendy.

Luna- Sweet, very sweet.

Aurora- Absolutely gorgeous, but my favourite boys name is Rory so I couldn't use it myself.

Aura- Nice, but it seems too short especially after Aurora. I'd use it as a nickname for Aurora.

Willow- Same as Rayne, but at least it's spelt correctly.

I love the name Luna. I like Aurora a lot too. I agree with anapology about Aura - I like it but it seems short. Rayne is nice, but I'd use it as a middle name. I'm not fond of Willow.

Luna Rayne would be my favorite out of your choices. Aurora Rayne wouldn't be bad - Just a lot of R's. :)

Rory is one of my favoritwe boy names too. I love it! But I have a character that has gone trhu a lot of stuff... his full name is Rordan Brody and everyone calls him Rory. I could never use it after that =\

Aurora is my least favourite name, so I don't have too much good stuff to say about that. Aura isn't much better to me. Luna is the prettiest, I just think that it's kind of out there; like naming a kid Moon would be. Rayne and Willow are too cheesy for me, especially Rayne, with the spelling.

I love all of those! They're very hippie, flower power kind of names, if you don't mind me saying. =)

I also like the spelling of Rayne as Raine. Luna's very pretty, as most names for the moon are (Selene, Phoebe, being others). I love Aurora, especially the nn Rora and the nn Rory. Aura is very pretty as well. Willow I see more as a middle name, but I like it as either.

I know! I love names with meanings close to nature and stuff (I can be sooo hipie at times, and geeky too!)

Raine is also pretty, it's strting ton grow on me. Luna is just so girly to me and it's easiest of the names for moon for my family to pronounce.

I adore the nn Rory for a boy but, as I mentioned before, I am extremely hesitant on using it. Willow is the one I would less likely use because of my family (here the 'W' sound is just 'weird' lol)

I love the name luna, but i'm always worried about the loony or lunatic name calling possibilities. And i know, kids are always going to try and find something, i just don't want to make it easy for them! =) But it's still on our list anyways.

I like Luna. I probably wouldn't use it as a first name though. Maybe if you can find a name that you could use it as a nn for or use it as a middle name. Then again, it doesn't have significance to me so that's why I wouldn't use it as a first name. It has significance to you so it makes sense as a first name :)

Rayne - cute, not sure if I would actually use it, but I do like it in theory :)

Luna - really like :) but all I can think of is the kitty on Sailor Moon, lol. But I still like it :)

Aurora - not really a fan, but a fine name.

Aura - I like this one better, but not so much because I knew a girl who I didn't like with this name. It's very pretty, though.

Willow - ADORE! I am considering this for a future kid, I love it that much :) or maybe for a middle, but yeah :)

I really like Luna, Aurora and Aura. Aura actually means a plough in Finnish but it is also used as a name here :>) It's also the name of a lot of Finnish brands and places! (I don't know if this interests you much but I'm always so excited to see Finnish names in here :D) Anyway, my favorite combination would be Luna Aurora. I don't really care for Rayne but Willow is kinda pretty.
