so i have recently started to fall harder for the name anna and would be fine using it on its own, but i am just curious to look into other options for an extended version...

i dont like anastasia. i hate breanna. i love annabel. i think annelise is pretty.

what do you think of annarose? anna rose? one word or two? i am leaning toward one word. i know its kind of a smushed together thing, but it reminds me of names like sarabeth, which is a perfectly valid name, right?

just random thoughts. would love to hear what you guys think.

I think Annarose is very pretty. I love Annabel/le and Annelise as well. You could use Anna Rose if you can't think of other NNs for it, but I think it'd do well with a two syllable MN. The only one that comes to mind right now is Annarose Marie.

middle name would be colleen, after my mother who passed away four years ago. i think thats why i am leaning toward one word, because anna rose colleen is a bit much, imo.

i dont like sarabeth at all either, i agree with you, its just the name i heard the other night (on 'greys anatomy') that made me start thinking about names like that. so its the only thing i thought to compare it to.

Yeah, if it's two middle name's it's said differently. Pronunciation is the same but like...let's see if I can explain this right...when you say it as three separate names, it's like you can hear the written space between Anna and Rose, whereas if you say Annarose Colleen (which is nice by the way :D) you hear it as Oneword Oneword. Does that make sense? LOL

I'm in love with the name Annaleigh (prounounced AH-na-lee), which I discovered on this season's ANTM. :P I've never been a big fan of Anna or of Leigh, but the two together, pronounced that way, feels both classic and unusual to me. But that's just me!

My niece's name is Savanna, and I've always called her Anna.

Cheyenne *could* be nn'd Anna, in my opinion...
