yea. a lot of people pronounce them differently, but i've heard all three pronounced as mad-uh-linn. my friend's name is madeleine (pronounced mad-uh-linn), but she gets called mad-uh-lyne all the time.

To me, Madeleine is the French "mad-eh-lehne" (almost like Layne at the end), Madeline is "Mad-eh-LINE" like standing in line, and Madelyn is "Mad-eh-LYNN".

i guess youre right with ana, but those pronouncing it like anna would be incorrect. eoin really baffles me, i didnt mean to sound like i was doubting you, i had just never seen it before. i wasnt sure if it was some crazy kreaytiv spelling or what. the whole gaelic language sort of baffles me anyway, so i suppose i shouldnt be surprised. :)
