I babysit frequently for the children who attend the Texas Tech Child Development Research Center (which is where I work). I babysat for a new family last night and although I was just watching their 3 month old son, his older sister has a name I've never heard before:

Anastyn (baby brother's name is Jackson)

..what do you think?

I wouldn't give my kid a name that has the word "nasty" in the middle of it. I also think it looks kind of like some kind of topical medication for a foot fungus for some reason.

I like the sound, but it looks awful. (And I hate Jennifer Aniston, so I'd never use it or anything similar, but that's just a personal thing, haha.)

That spelling is too *~*creative*~* for my liking. My coworker's granddaughter is named Aniston. I don't hate it, but I immediately think of Jennifer Aniston.

Jennifer Aniston.
I wonder if that's why they chose that.

Jennifer Aniston and Joshua Jackson...someone was a fan of 90s TV.

Anastyn looks like "A Nasty N." Creative spelling ruined it.
