Any suggestions about good names with Annie as a nickname except Annabel/le? Do you think Annie would be a good nickname for Annika?

Also, have you ever heard the name Rickhard anywhere? It is my grandfather's name and I plan on using it on my first son but I always thought that it was spelled in the Finnish way of spelling Richard - Rikhard. Idk, I think it would make more sense if Rikhard was the Finnish version of Rickhard since Richard and Rikhard are pronounced so differently.

One of my good friends is named Anika and goes by Anni. It works great for her.

Anything with -an- in the name would work. Some of my favorites:

Alana, Anastasia, Angelica, Anna, Anneliese, Annette, Antoinette, Anya, Diana/Diane, Danielle, Eleanor, Frances, Gianna, Hannah, Juliana, Johanna, Lillian, Rhiannon, Rosanna, Roxana, Susannah, Vanessa.

I've never heard Rickhard anywhere. I think it's kind of an awful name for a child (the -hard part).

annelise/aneliese is another option.

you could always go with anna as a name and annie as a nickname, if you prefer it simple. i think annie as a nickname for annika is fine.

My friend in middle school's name was Gerianne. We always called her Annie.

I get called Annie all the time too but I'm just a plain old Ann. :)
