Eglantine

Has anyone here ever seen Bedknobs and Broomsticks? What do you think of the name Eglantine? It is English and means sweetbriar.

Edit: I have no plans on using it. Just found it interesting. :)

I'd say it's just fine if you like in the UK. If you live in the US, you're setting your kid up for one hell of a miserable childhood.

I read Elegantine at first. Like the word elegant? That was still kinda eh but a lot better than Eglantine IMO.

Drop the g, and pronounce it "Ellen-teen" and it isn't so bad. Maybe even pretty.
