 I'm not due until January...

But I'm pretty sure we're set on Oakley for our little boy. 

I've been trying to use a name when talking about him, to see if one works/sounds better, and out of all the choices we had...that one feels the most natural for us. Knowing me, I could very well change my mind before he comes, but for right now - Oakley feels right. 

Thoughts? Love it? Hate it?

Oakley Nash
Oakley Bennett
Oakley Vaughn

Last name is Perez, too.

Hahaha...I hadn't tried saying it too fast just yet.
My best guy friend's middle name is Vaughn, and so I always thought about using it - since it's an interesting name, and it would be nice to name my kid after someone I love so much.

I don't know why, but Oakley Nash just sounds super cool. However, with Perez added to it, I prefer Oakley Bennett.

I can't get over my infatuation with Nash as a middle name.

We plan on having two...
and if it was a girl we were having, we were going to try to use Vaughn as her middle name, since it flowed really nicely with some of the names we had picked out (Evie, Matilda, and Marley).

Oakley could definitely work, but my immediate reaction is that it seems like a surname more than anything else.

As far as the middle name, Vaughn is my least favorite for Oakley. I think Oakley Bennett Perez flows the best. Oakley Nash strikes me as really Wild West. And I do keep thinking of Annie Oakley, so that's something to keep in mind since you are planning on using it for a boy.

I actually adore Oakley Bennett, it flows the best to me, Oakley Nash is lovely, but to me, Nash is a sirname so i couldn't use it as a second, and Bennett sounds super manly to me.

I just came across the name in a baby name book and fell in love with it. I am also one of those extremely tacky people that loves surnames for first names, so it doesn't bother me at all ;)

I'm in agreeance, I like Oakley Nash.
However....When I was saying just the first and mn's, I thought Oakley Nash was the way to go. But, if you add in Perez, for something reason Oakley Bennett Perez does more for me than Oakley Nash Perez.
Maybe cos they're all two syllables..

Oakley Nash sounds like a Homer Simpson name it would go well with Max Powers and Rock Strongo! hehe

That being said I like it and it's much better than Oakley Bennet. I actually prefer Nash with the last name aswell.

Our previous name choice was Cohen Nash Perez, and it disappoints me that Nash seems to fit so much better there...but like I said, since I love it so much, I may just have to get over it (Bennett is more of a back-up)
