I work in a daycare, but I haven't been in the infant room so I don't really know their names.  I just found out some of their names today.

Lillith
Lilly
Briggs (m)
Olivia (sister Evelyn, 2)

WDYT?

I like them all except Briggs. I feel sorry for this poor tiny baby.

i love lily, but am not super fond of lilith, its a very cold sounding name, to me.

i love the siblings of olivia and evelyn. very sweet.

Lilith has dark connotations to me while Lily is light and pleasant. You can saddle your kid with a name like that, but I feel like it is one of those that should be left up to an adult or older person to choose.

OT but how old are the infants in your daycare? What is the earliest age parents bring them in and what's your feeling (or the other workers' thoughts) on that?

Lillith nn Lilly is my top choice for a daughter, and I like the double L - it seems more phonetic to me. It's kind of funny seeing them there as separate names. I like Olivia too, but not much of a fan of Evelyn, even though it's my grandmother's name.

Briggs is ridiculous, it doesn't sound like a suitable name for anything. I'm picturing a teddy bear in a waistcoat, called Mr Briggs.

Lily/Lilly/Lilian/Lilith. I hate them all. Honestly, all those names with that beginning are very high on my list of least favourites. Bleh. And I don't like Olivia either. Evelyn is probably the best on the list, but it's definitely not my style. Briggs is pretty bad, but I can see it a lot better on a guy in high school than a little baby.

I think we're licensed 6 weeks to 12 years, but I don't think any of our babies are that young. They all seem to be 6 months or older (they can all sit up unassisted). I don't really have any thoughts on how young the babies are. If their parents want/need to return to work, they have that choice. If parents want to be stay at home parents, that's great too.
