Raquel is close to my daughter's name (Rahel) so I like it.

Estela is pretty too.

i kind of like estela, but prefer stella.

also, does that say lala? because i kind of like it, as a guilty pleasure.

marisol intrigues me too, although i would never use it personally.

I like a lot of them but I'd never use them. I mean, I lived in Guatemala for a short period so I'm really used to Hispanic names but I'm not actually ethnically from a Hispanic culture so it just wouldn't fit for me.

I've always had a soft spot for Pilar.

I like:

Arcelia
Blanca
Estela
Lorena
Natalia
Noa
Raquel

I'm sure I would like more if I could figure out the pronunciations of some of the others! I'm always so bad at that.

Estrella (although not pronounced with the Spanish accent), Lorena, Marisol, Natalia, Pilar and Soledad are all decent.

Noa, on the other hand, needs to die. I hate Noah/Noa on girls.

I really love Pilar & Soledad. It's a pity that Pilar looks so much like 'pillar' and Soledad means solitude (or something like that).
Blanca & Nuria are nice too...I've never really thought about those names.

My personal favorite Spanish names are Luz, Mercedes, Rocio, Milagros & Lucia.

*I forgot Natalia! I like that one a lot, too.

I used to watch a lot of Spanish telenovelas and it seemed like Soledad was usually the name of matronly-type people. Raquel and Marisol are lovely.

Nuria makes me think of the condition phenylketonuria.

I like Raquel and Aniceta

I used to love the name Jacinta when I was younger, which I think is also Spanish... not sure what I think of it now though

Soledad and all other names that end in -dad are horrible. Why do that to your kid? Same with Dolores. Very no.

Marisol was my grandmother's stage name when she was a singer in Cuba.

Noa is my kitty's name. :) But I took it from the Japanese definition.
