Abra - was a Pokémon.
Allegra - allergy medicine
Anais - I like it, but spelt Anaïs
Bronte - we get it, you're all ~*~literary~*~, but no.
Calliope - I like it, also because of the book "Middlesex". Is linked to Greek mythology, so not kry8tyve
Dharma - I like the concept and the way it sounds and looks. It's just not my style and reminds me of the sitcom
Djuna - no
Electra - Amelia Earhart's aeroplane!
Gaia - Goddess of... something, and a city in Northern Portugal. Do not like.
Ianthe - no
Isadora - I've got a friend named after Isadora Duncan. It suits her.
Magritte - love the painter, do not like the name on a girl
Musetta - It sounds like it should be in a scientific name, like Musetta vulgaris or something.
Story - ... no.
Tessa - <3, as a nn for Theresa
Thea - like
Thisbe - this be ... what? Bad grammar!
Zandra - no

I love the name Anais, it's one I would definitely consider for a future daughter. I would spell it Anaïs, though.

i really like calliope. and tessa is on my list.

magritte intrigues me, but i love rene magritte. though i would never name someone that. anais is nice too, but i am not fond of the connection.

i met a girl named thea a few weeks ago who was 15 and she was sweet and had glasses and just really... smart, and made me like the name.

Thisbe at least is not made up :)
It's the name of a mythologic character, a Shakespeare character and an asteroid.

See, this is how you do "creative" names. None of that Y for an E bologna.

I like Isadora, Tessa and Thea.

I knew a girl named Bronte. I like it.
I love the meaning of the name Caliope, and the sound of it.
Musetta, I like.
No to Thea, Story, and Thisbe.

I love Musetta. I wish it weren't so...odd. The only ones I dislike are Anais (I can't look at it and not think "anus"), Djuna and Thea (though I love Theodora, go figure).

My stepmother's name is Thea. (and hers isn't short for Althea or Theodocia, it's just plain Thea)

I wouldn't likely name my child Allegra since that's the brand name for a prescription drug (among other things) and probably would not choose Calliope either since that is a unique, sometimes steam-powered turn-of-the-last-century type of music machine.

Zandra Rhodes. British fashion designer. I would rather stick pins in my eyes than call an innocent child by the name of this evil witch.

Tessa sounds creative? Okay. I wouldn't say that, but alright. I hate Allegra. It is so ugly. And yes, it does sound creative. Creatively horrible. I do like Story though.

Dharma and Story are trying too hard to be creative. Love the name Isadora, but the others earn a 'meh' from me.

I really like Juna, actually, but only spelled like this. The D seems redundant to me.

I also like Tessa & Allegra.

Tessa is really common here, by the way!

Why, thank you! :D I really, really like Zandra, but it just sounds a little too much like a nickname for me to ever use probably :( BUT! I love the name Alexandra as well, so I think that might be a cute nn for it :)
