So a few years ago I worked in a theater as an assistant director, my directors name (he swore it was his real name) was:

Gilgamesh Angus

he had a daughter, who he named :

Ambrosia Rose

thoughts?

personally, i think my friend summed it up best about Ambrosia when he said "I think the line between wordnames and words is drawn somewhere before flaked coconut desserts."
also, the historical context of Gilgamesh (the epic of gilgamesh being the first recorded story), is neat, but i don't like the name itself.

also, what do you think about multiple middle names, for instance my exes best friends middle names were the names of HER father and his five brothers, or how Dumbledores name is Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore ?

i think two is the most i'd really do.

i would never do more than two middle names, and i'd definitely give at least one.

Ambrosia had a meaning before it was a dessert.

I actually really, really like the name Ambrosia. To be honest (this'll probably sound ignorant) I didn't even know it was the name of a dessert until I joined this community.

I don't actually mind Ambrosia, but it sounds pretty bad with Rose as a middle name. Maybe I'm pronouncing it completely wrong, but I see Ambrosia as already having "rose" in it... like, amb-ROSE-ee-a. Too repetitive. They'd be better off with Rose as short for Ambrosia.
