some names

I know a married couple, Corey and Sunshine. They are expecting a baby boy in about 5 months. They want to name it Teagan (or Tegan?) Douglas. If it were a girl it would be Korie Vivian.
To be honest, I can't stand Teagan or Tegan and I have only heard it for a girl. It's ugly anyways. I think naming a girl Korie isn't nice either, especially when her father is Corey.

I was gonna say, I thought that Teagan/Tegan was a girl's name. I don't like it on boys. Korie is awful. That's ugly. Sunshine, eh?

If I were them, I'd sooner go with Tegan for the girl and Corey (this spelling) for the boy...but I assume that would be weird considering the father's name is Corey. Not that Korie would not be weird, but ok.

*ponders* There was a Tegan on Doctor Who, a girl apparently. I like the Korie name because it's like being named after your dad without it being an exact copy. Might be difficult to come up with a nickname that they both don't answer to. Tegan I could like a middle name. If it were a normal first then a slightly different middle.

Switched to Vivian Korie and I like it. Vivian Corey even better, since that's really naming after the father, but not so confusing, and I think Vivian is very pretty. I've never heard Tegan for a boy or a girl, so I'm neutral to it.
