I work in a residential treatment center/prison for kids. One of our former residents came by today - free, working, and sober...can't ask for much more than that:) He has a 2 week old daughter....named....

Delilah Serenity

Serenity is from the Serenity Prayer that he credits in part for saving his life from addiction. I think its sweet.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference.

I'm usually not into the hippie dippie names like serenity, zen, crystal, etc. but with delilah (whish is so cutesy, but definitely still great) and because of the prayer, etc, i think its great!

i was in a rtc for a while when i was younger and dumber. RIGHT ON about it being a prison.

Mine really is a prison:) double fencing, rows of constantina and razor wire. We are actually one of the few progressive sanction level five correctional facilities in the state and the only one I know of that doubles as a drug treatment facility (outside TYC, of course. I have to go through four security points just to get to my office...and can't have pointy things....

I miss pointy things...
