Identical twins on  a DHC show I'm watching:
Cynthia and Corinthia

Argh. Cynthia = gorgeous. Corinthia = not a name, she got seriously jipped. It reminds me of Corinthians, which doesn't make me like it better. Plus the tacky/matchy/singsongeyness.

I think there was actually a little girl in a preschool class I observed whose name was Corinthia (I'm not sure if that was the exact spelling), but she went by CJ. Although her and her classmates had to use the long name to practice handwriting;)

I don't like either - they're both place names and basically mean 'from a place in Greece'. At least Corinthia has Corin to fall back on, Cynthia only has Cyn...or Thia I guess.

Corinthia is a name (it's a place), and a very pretty one IMO. I just don't think it makes a good sibset with Cynthia (which I'm not fond of). Too matchy.

I went to uni with a Corinthia. I don't mind it but I hate Cynthia. It sounds cheap.

I hate Cynthia. Reminds me of Angelica's Cynthia doll on Rugrats.

I actually really like Corinthia. Much more than Cynthia.
