Please understand that the names of the children that I work with are verified via birth certificate and social security card (when available). This tops even Mister President!

I AM (first name) WHO I AM (middle name)
I AM                        THAT I AM
MAVVARRIO
MYLEESHA
LARRY
TAVEREN

and the parents are named David and Jennell?!?!?!?!?!?

I take it your from the states?

Bacase most countries do have naming laws, and I AM WHO I AM would ever get passed (in the US you can call the child anythung but a number).

Also, I AM's parents are very selfish. Really, something like that is just cruel. Almost as if they want that child to suffer. Jeez, that's someone's life and your giving them a joke of a name?

The first two are (what I think are well known) English translation of responses from GD in the Bible http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_am_that_I_am - so they're basically calling their kids GD (as this bloke tried to do http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/2318291.stm I remember random stuff)

Larry got blessed in comparison...

Ha, I was going to clarify with "G-d", but that probably doesn't help!

Some people, such as some Jews, believe that you shouldn't write G-d's name, as once it is in written form people can do things like rip it up, spit on it, et cetera, and G-d's name should be treated with more respect than that. In order to prevent people form doing that, we write "G-d".

I don't think Larry or Myleesha are bad. Larry's a little frumpy and Myleesha (unless I'm not catching a dirty joke or something) not my style but follows a pretty standard formula popular among many African-American people in the US.

Also, are you saying that these are six kids from the same family? I'm not clear.

God. some traditions won't spell out His name, so they shorten it. I normally see it as G-d, though.

"G-d" does help, actually. I'm an airhead sometimes. :P

or he could be named after an uncle or a grandpa named Larry. For some reason I have seen families name their kids Joe Jr. after the uncle... which seems bizarre to me.
