What do you guys think of the names Daphne and Azalea? Not together or anything but just as themselves.
I don't think I've ever use either, Daphne makes me think a little bit of Daffy Duck and Azalea is maybe a bit too botanical for me...but yeah, they're kind of growing on me still.

I like Daphne a lot, but generally think of it as a name for a cat. Like one of those super-prissy Persians. It's what I wanted to call my second cat (the other was Phoebe... thought Phoebe and Daphne sounded good together - the roommies hated it).

I know a GUY named Azalea (he goes by Dre though. Weird), and yeah, just don't like it. Cause of that. lol

Daphne is the name of the mom of a girl I know ... and she's not my favorite person, even though I don't really have anything against her - so maybe that's why I don't like that name so much.

Azalea is pretty, but I agree, maybe a little too botanical.

I don't like Azalea, but Daphne's one of my favourites. It doesn't immediately make me think of anything, but if I thought hard, I'd probably say it reminds me of Scooby Doo too.

Considering that I live in "The Azalea City", 15 minutes from the suburb of Daphne, I'd have to say no. But I'm sure you can see why. LOL

I like Daphne, although this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daphnia (commonly known as a water flea haha) is what immediately comes to mind when I hear the name... I'm probably the only non-biologist who would make that association though lol, I'm just fascinated by creepy-crawlies. I probably should have spent more of my childhood watching Scooby Doo and less poking around streams.

Azalea's a bit too frilly sounding for a name with no obvious nickname I think.

I considered Azalea as a name.

Everyone thought it might be a little confusing to her, because of the Z, and the pronounciation of the word - half of my family couldn't pronounce it either!

some friends had twin girls. Daphne and Deliah. They are super cute and have a brother names Devan(Van). I like Daphne and Azalea as a middle name. But not for Daphne of course.
