I plan to get either two rabbits or two ferrets in the near future, when I move out. So these are names I'm thinking of giving them, they're all sort of guilty pleasure names that I don't think would be well-received on a baby now-a-days. So, for small furry animals, what do you think of:

Penelope & Persephone (for two girls)
Harriet and Tobias (for a boy and a girl)
Henry and Oliver (for two boys)

Edit: The reason I consider these names guilty pleasures is that they're basically names I've mentioned to my mom over time and she forbid me from "doing that to a chid". So obviously I really like all of these names too, and I know that a lot of people do and they're mostly acceptable, but I know that people in my life hate them and that's why I wouldn't personally use them.

I like all of the names, but I think Penelope and Persephone might be too close. Then again, since they're rabbits/ferrets and not likely to come to their names, it might not be a problem. If they were dogs where they responded to their names, I'd say to use ones that can't be confused.

For all but Persephone, I don't see anything wrong with using these names on children, so be careful to to use a name you might later decide you would use on a child.

My sister cats are Persephone and Inanna. :)

Also, I'd go for ferrets over rabbits.
