I don't think that I would ever use any of these names. Bell is probably the nicest, to me.

like Bell(e), Nicholas and Noel.
sidenote: I work with a Garlyn. I'd never use Garland, but Garlyn, I'd consider.

I wouldn't name a child after a feeding trough, nor give them a name from a profession - even if it were a better-respected one than "shepherd." Ebenezer has negative connotations, especially in the context of Christmas. And, while the cultural bias doesn't hold true in other Christian cultures, I really don't like the idea of naming a child Jesus - perhaps especially if the child will be living in an English environment but be expected to pronounce the name Hay-zus.

Nicholas and Claus are technically two versions of the same name, Claus being the Dutch short form for St. Nick.

The others are okay. I'm partial to old-fashioned names, so I'm more likely to use Belle, Carol, Gloria, Mary, Nicholas, Joy (or Joyce - that's my daughter's middle name) or something like Christian to be shortened to Chris.

I like Joseph, Star and Noel. I wouldn't use them though. Rudolf/Rudolph is a family name for me... but I still wouldn't use it. My brother named his son Rudolph though.

I like Joseph, Claus (only spelt Klaus and said differently) and I like Noel for a boy but also said differently.

Love Emmanuel, Holly, Nicholas (that I instinctively typed as "Nickolas," heh), Noel (but I'd spell it Noelle) and Peace.

I know a Rebecca Carol, Brian Nicholas, and Jessica Noelle... all of them born around Christmas. I think that it's so tacky even though I love Nicholas and Noelle.
