What do you think of the name Jenna?

Additionally, what are your favorite Shakespearean names? (A ridiculously long list can be found here.)

I really like Jenna, actually. I think it's very feminine.

My ex named his daughter this. It's kinda pretty, but a bit harsh and trashy, IMO. There's a really famous porn star with the name, which I think might color my opinion a bit.

I know a few people named Jenna that I don't like so my opinion shouldn't count. I prefer Gemma.

I personally hate the name Jenna (and I am a Jennifer/Jenny).

The only Shakespearian name I love off the top of my head is Ophelia.

I love Jenna. I like it better than Jennifer.

I don't have time to look through the whole Shakespearean names list, but I've always loved Laertes, though I don't think I'd ever have the guts to use it, unless I become famous.

It's kind of 80s, but I actually like it a lot.

the name itself is ok. it's my sister's name and we don't have the best relationship plus i have an ex-friend with the name who is a huge bitch so it doesn't have good connotations with me

I used to have a good friend named Jenna, so I don't mind it.

I kind of like Jenna. Have been through phases of loving it but I'm more neutral now and probably wouldn't use it.

My favourite Shakespearean names off the top of my head are Miranda and Juliet but I didn't look at the list

When I was about six or seven, Jenna was one of my favourite names. I do still like it, although for me it is a little dated, in the same way that Jennifer/Jessica/Stephanie are. There were a lot of Jennas when I was in school.

I don't like the name Jenna. Maybe it's kind of eighties or something, but it is really not my style. Gemma is prettier to me.

Eleanor and Cassandra. Although I was not aware that it was a Shakespearean name; I like it because of the Iliad.

Hate it, reminds me of Jenna Jameson and if I were a kid I would not want to have that following me around. as for Shakespearean names I like

Adriano
Lysander
Antigone
Helena

I could probably find more if I had the patience to look through the list because I'm really in to out of the norm names.

I have to admit, I think Jenna is quite pretty but I do also think it sounds trashy. This is probably because I primarily associate it with Jenna Jameson.

I like lots of Shakespearean names, but I think Cordelia is my favourite.
I went to a school with a girl whose middle name was Perdita, after the character in The Winter's Tale. That's pretty cool for a midle name but I don't think I'd use it as a first.

I like the name Jenna, as in Jenna Fischer from The Office. However, the two Jennas I've actually known are both so obnoxious that I could never use it. One got alcohol poisoning in a bar at the ripe old age of 17 cuz she let some old guy but her like 10 beers and she drank them all.

I really like Viola and Sebastian. (And yes, my guilty pleasure name is Tempest!)
I can't say I'm a fan of Jenna, it reminds me of Jenna Bush. But, I really like Gemma. :)
