Names for Twins
Jul. 21st, 2008 09:54 pmMy husband and I found out a few weeks ago that we're expecting twins, and we need help choosing names! Between the two of us, we have a pretty extensive list of names to choose from, but we're at a loss regarding combinations. We'd really appreciate some input.
Some important information is that my husband is of Welsh/English heritage, which is where we're heading for a first middle name, and I'm Japanese-American, which we want for a second middle name. Below are our favorites, split between first names and middle names:
Boys: (First)
James

Ioan (husband's father's name)
Noah
(1st Middle)
Estlin
Benjamin (my father's name)
Alexander
William
Rhys (husband's grandfather's name)
Nicolas
(2nd Middle)
Hitoshi - 'even tempered' (my grandfather's name)
Kaito - 'the sea' (my other grandfather's name)
Yasuo - 'peaceful'
Kanbai - 'winter plum blossom'
Akeno - 'brightest point of the dawn'
Girls: (First)

Andra (pr. 'Ahn-drah')
Cira (pr. 'Chi-rah' in Italian)
Anais
(1st Middle)
Cadence
Brielle
Lilia
Carys
Catherine
(2nd Middle)
Ayame - 'an iris' (pr. 'Ayah-meh' my mom's favorite flower)
Chizu - 'a thousand cranes'
Mine - 'resolute protector' (pr. 'Mee-neh', my mom's name)
Miu - 'beautiful feathers'

My personal favorites are James Asher Hitoshi (nn: Jamie) and Isla Cadence Ayame, while my husband is wanting to hear what you all say.
If you could do all three combinations, that would be amazing! Thanks!
