What middle names would you suggest for the name Hope?

Do you agree with starting the middle name with the last letter of the first name (EX: Hope Elisabeth, Hope Elinor) or does that look weird to you?

I am not currently expecting but thought this would be fun. I really like the two mentioned above and Hope Lenore. I actually had a dream the other night and that was the name of one of my dream children!

I really like Hope Elisabeth, and I don't think it's bad for you to start the middle name with the same letter as the first name. I didn't even notice it!

My name is Hope. I really wish people wouldn't name their kids puritanical names (Hope, Faith, Charity, Joy, etc.). It's annoying for the person who gets stuck with it. If I had a nickel for every time I thought someone was saying my name in casual conversation but weren't addressing me...or for how many jokes people make about my name (there are a LOT, believe it or not)...or for how many times Obama or some other politician rattles on about "hope" this and "hope" that...well, I could retire, for sure.

I've even had people I just met say to me, "HOPE! What a wonderful Christian name you have!" And then I get to tell that I'm an atheist and Christians don't have a trademark on that concept.

I'm just saying, it gets old really fast for the person who actually has the name. :/

I like it.

My mom was stuck between Hope, Faith, or Grace for my youngest sister's name. She picked Grace. ;)

So you don't think any of the things I mentioned will be a problem because it'd be naming the kid after a relative? O.o

I guess we should just be thankful the relative isn't named Dingleberry or Uniquua.

I love Hope Elizabeth! It's beautiful & flows nicely. Also, in reference to one of the other comments: My sisters name is Faith & one of my 2nd cousins is Hope & neither of them have ever complained about being confused while people are talking or being associated with the meaning of the word or anything like that. I think it's a perfectly good name!

Not named after a virtue but completely agree. Those types of names annoy me a lot for those exact reasons, even though Hope is probably my favorite of them if I had to pick one. (Chastity is the worst, though, IMO.)

Since the E in Hope isn't pronounced, I think it's fine to go with an E middle name.

Hope Eleanor
Hope Elisabeth
Hope Eliza
Hope Elise
Hope Emily
Hope Eden
Hope Evelyn

Dream names are fun! I dreamt about the name Joren once.
I just tried to make an email address for my first name that ends with tt and my middle name that starts with a t, and so there were three t's in a row in the username. It looked weird.
I don't think the e is a problem for hope because you don't pronounce it.

Hope Elisabeth sounds good to me.
