Names to go with Alice.. first or middle.
Names to go with Esme.. first or middle.




Something interesting I came across last night while looking through my albums, sure many of you know this already.. I've always like the name Etta and I saw it posted here recently under a Jazz theme-- Etta James' given name was Jamesetta Hawkins. Ick, I'm glad she changed it. WDYT? I find it funny that people name their children after celebs when celebs so often change their names. Still like Etta, thoguh. :)

Jamesetta is so bad. I told my dad and he just made a face. I was kind of hoping that it'd be a whole Jamie-Lynn type thing, but I looked it up and it wasn't. I have no idea what kind of name that is. Very glad that she had changed it.

Esme Mirella. Alice Faye, Alice Maud, Alice Victoria, Alice Augusta. All of the Alices I looked up, because nothing came to me for that one.

I was the one who posted about Etta. :) I knew what her name was before she changed it to Etta James, but I was mostly interested in seeing how people felt about (possible) basque connections with Etta.

Alice is one of my favorite names. I like Alice Paige, Alice June, Alice Dahlia. And I always thought Esme Violet was lovely.

I like Etta; it has that simple accessable 'retro' feel which is currently in vogue, but not well used.

Twilight is a series of books that are really popular right now, and two of the important characters are named Esme and Alice. :)

You could always have one as a first name and the other as a middle name.
