i've never been a fan of bridgette/bridget, but i do like sophia, haley, victoria, anastasia, katharine, and emma. katherine is probably my favorite girls name spelled with the e, but i don't mind the a at all.

it's difficult for me to like boys names, but i'm a fan of aiden (despite its popularity) and shane. i LOVE andrew, it's been my favorite boys name for as long as i can remember. i'll probably end up naming a future son (if i have one) elliott andrew. my stepfathers name is andrew, which is the only reason i wouldn't use it as a first name.

senator is atrocious, for several reasons. but mostly because your child would be senator (last name), like senator obama, or senator clinton, or senator mccain.

Looks like you have generally good taste with names, and I agree with you about Senator. No for an actual human baby. In theory kinda cute.

For boys I only really like Nicholas though. Plus, Aiden is way overdone, and Brady/Shane/Tyler are REALLY overdone and really 90s.

Carly does not sound like a full name at all. If you really want to call your daughter by that nickname I guess Carolyn is a good full name. Otherwise I dig all your girls' names.

I liked Tyler cause it was my grandmas last name she passed away this year. So thats why I picked it.

hooray for Katharine with an A! That's my favorite spelling of one of my favorite names :). The only other names I'm really fond of are Victoria, Sophia (although it's gotten too popular for my taste) and Nicholas. The only names I really dislike here are Taylor and Aiden (I prefer the spelling Aidan, but even then I don't like the name much). The others are OK, but NMS.

A resounding no to Senator. It has a nice sound, but is just too silly to use as a first name. It would make a nice middle name, though, for any of the boys' names on your list.
