Brother's name
Jul. 13th, 2008 03:05 pmWhich one do you like best between Jordan and Joshua?
I'm fiddling around with
(which is our selected name for a future daughter, as most of you already know)
Jordan ties together several artistic inspirations of mine (Jordan Taylor Hanson, Christina Aguilera's husband Jordan Bratman, Taylor's child Jordan Ezra) as well as my partner's (Michael Jordan). Its meaning also refers to "river", which is possibly my favorite meaning in a name.
Joshua is one of my partner's favorites, but there are no specific meanings attached to it so far (unless we go look for them, which we might).
Consider that Jordan in Italy would be pronounced JOHR-dahn and Joshua pretty much the same as it is in english (JOSH-wah).
Also, I'd like the middle name to be Alexander, after SO's first name, Alessandro.
It would be Ah-lex-AHN-dehr in italian.
WDYT? Other J boy names suggestions? Alma has his initial, and we'd like a boy name to have mine (I'm Jessica).
