Do you guys know any extensive baby naming sites that you can type in a couple of letters, and the search will find names that either have those letters at the beginning, middle or end?

I have two sounds for a baby name ringing in my head, and I want to see if I can find any names that match them, before I forget! :) Since I'm going insane and trying to have a big list of names to take to the hospital when baby is born, I figure the quicker I do this, the better! ;P

With that one you can select starts with, contains the letters or ends with.
Is that what you're looking for?

You can search 'names that start with' or 'names that end with' on http://www.babynames.com

As well as all of the above, behindthename.com has a feature here: http://www.behindthename.com/search.php (under the second heading "Search for Additional Information on a Name")

I think probably the best thing for you would be Baby Names World though.

At behindthename.com do a search with an * symbol to replace any letters. Like if you want names with the letters "ab" in them put *ab* into the search.

I know a couple of people already mentioned behindthename.com but I wanted to tell you some of the search features.
If you like a name that end in son then enter *son in the search box
If you like a name that starts with br then enter br*
If you like a name that starts with t and end in n then enter t*n
And what really helped me is if you like a name but it is too popular, so you want to change it a little like... Kevin you could enter K*v*n to find variations.

Hope this helps. :-)
