There was a girl in my store the other day, probably around 20 with this name and I kind of like it, it fit her well.
It's not really my style, and I highly doubt my fiance would ever go for it, but-

Well, I know I'm going to be the exception, but I like it, and I'd probably use it as a nn for Evangeline. I was never a huge fan of the name Evan until I heard it on a girl, but now it's growing on me for both sexes.

I don't really like it, but as far as boys' names on girls go, this one isn't too bad actually... I prefer it to Michael, James, Elliot, Ryan, etc. But I really like it on a boy, so I don't want to see it become so feminised that boys can't use it anymore without being accused of having a girls' name.

I like it for a girl. Yes, Evan Rachel Wood probably does have something to do with it, because I've seen it work on a girl. I think it's nice. So much better than every other crossover name.

I'll be in the minority, and say that I like it. And not for a nickname, for an actual name. It wouldn't ever make my list, though.

I guess I'm in the minority. For the most part, I don't have strong opinions about "girl names" or "boy names". However, I'm not a fan of the name for boys but I love it for girls. If I didn't feel so strongly about meanings, it would be at the top of my list.
