[identity profile] sian-y.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames

My school friends and I were discussing names in class the other week and one of the girls mentioned that a relation of hers had a daughter named:

Paisleigh (as in the word Paisley)

I actually don't mind it. If you don't take it by its true meaning, i think, it makes a cute sounding name

there was also a boy in my year at school (making him 16 years old) called:

Beau-Jangles

for serious, just like the song :S

I don't like "leigh" in anything :(

I actually like Paisley spelled like that, but really not a fan of that spelling.

Beau is nice. Beau-Jangles is silly.

I realized that first sentence is kind of confusing. I mean, I like Paisley spelled like this, not like the way it is in your post.

(I need more sleep)

I dislike Paisley to begin with, but spelling it Paisleigh makes it even more painful.

I had a girl in my class named Paisley. She's a gigantic whore/drug addict/etc now.

I don't really like the name Paisley, or any variant, though.

And Beau-Jangles? Srs? :(

The name Paisley (in any spelling) is really unappealing to me, because all it brings to mind are ugly neckties.

Give my regards to Beau-Jangles, I love his fried chicken (http://www.bojangles.com/greatfood_menu.html). The sweet tea is always a little too sweet, though. Maybe he could work on that?
