Thomasson is kind of cool. Aquanetta is...one of the worse names I've ever heard.

I had an old coworker named Winter. When I did payroll, everyone else's paperwork had their full names, but Winter's always said Winter A. When I asked what the A stood for, she refused to tell me, saying she only used the initial, because the name itself was too embarrassing. I bugged her about it off and on, and one day finally asked, "Is it Aquanetta?" She was amazed that I'd been able to guess it, thinking her mother had invented it. Unfortunately, no, Winter, you're not alone.

God, I thought that Aquanetta would be contained to the Cheetah Girls. It was okay then, because she was fictional.

Oh man, that is bad. Could be worse, though; Xeroxa. Pepsicola. Chapsticka.

And now someone is going to make me :( by posting evidence that people have really been named those.

In the books The Cheetah Girls, one of the group's girls has the name Aquanette. I was eight when I thought it was so cool. DX

I saw Aquanetta on a TLC special about her son Ben. Is that the same woman you're talking about or a different one?

Thomasson I don't like. It doesn't even seem feminized, since -son endings usually mean "Son of ". It just seems like they tried to knock off Allison or something, but it doesn't work.

Yeah, my mom made fun of her name too, but I pointed out that she couldn't choose that, but she did choose Ben for her son which is a great name, so she was fine, haha.

I also once knew a Thomasin (and much prefer that to the "ss" and the "o").
