Okay, so I messed up last time with that whole "spelling Michaela wrong" thing, so let's try this again, shall we? I know several Ashleys, and most use that spelling but a few spell it differently. Which spelling do y'all like the most? The original "Ashley," or one of the newer spellings?

I like Ashley for a boy and Ashlee for a girl :)

My husband like Ashleigh.... which I think looks wrong.

Ashlea? That's not even "Ashley" in my opinion...

Avon-lee. Lea, Lee, Leigh and Ley all mean 'meadow' in English (and English-derived) place names and are all pronounced the same way.

I think Ashley should always be Ashley, plain and simple.

I like it Ashley. My cousin named her daughter Ashleigh because my other cousin named her daughter Meghan Leigh and she liked the leigh spelling.

I voted for Ashlee, I think it's much more prettier that way even though I don't like the name.

I work with an "Ashlei" and that bothers because because I keep thinking it should be pronounced "Ash-lay."

Ashley and only Ashley.

Ashlea isn't Ashley, it's Ash-lee-uh. and everything else just looks stupid.

I was just goping to post that I knew an Ashlei in high school, but I figured I would check and see if anyone else mentioned knowing an Ashlei. It always makes me think of LEI jeans.

I have several friends who are into the whole "Leigh" spelling- Kyleigh, Kayleigh, and Leigh Anne- It's ok sometimes but I think Ashley should be Ashley!

I said Ashlee, just because I liked the girl I knew with it that way, and it makes a more common name different without being weird.

And I also would say Ashlea is Ash-lee-uh, that's how I've always heard it.

I know of a girl (well, she's my age... like 22), named Ashleigh. I think that looks really pretty, but I think it'd be a constant thing where you;'d have to spell it for someone.

I like Ashlee. I think it will become more popluar because of Ashlee Simpson though.

I'd pronounce that "Klee-ton."

Ashleigh. I know too many boys called Ashley to use that spelling. I always think of Ashley Cole, the footballer!
