We have decided on Molly Evelyn for a girl.

When I got pregnant the previous time (which ended in miscarriage), we had Troy Joseph for a boy. However, after much discussion, we are leaning towards Joshua Dylan instead and plan on calling him J.D..

Thoughts?

I love Molly Evelyn, and I think Joshua Dylan nn JD is very cute:)

Joshua is my soon-to-be-husband's name and he didnt want the child to be a 'junior'. So instead of naming him Joshua Todd, we decided Joshua Dylan. I have always liked the NN "JD" for some reason, its the only intial NN I have ever liked.

I have always loved the name Joshua, but my exhusband hated it and refused to name our son that. When I started dating a Josh, I joked around about it if we ever had a child. Now we are getting married and having a child and he is totally okay with it:)

I've loved the NN since I was a child, but we both love Scrubs, so that was a silly added bonus. It wasnt the cause, but it was a cute effect.

I picked Joshua and he picked Dylan.

I don't like the nickname JD, but that's just because I know a JD...let's hope that your son would be nothing like him. I like Dylan, but Joshua is just a bit too plain for me. They sound really nice together though.

And now I just feel like a negative bitch, haha, 'cause I don't like Molly either. I don't know if I've ever known a dog with that name, but it sounds like a dog's name to me. I'm not calling future daughter a dog, but that's what the name sounds like to me. And Evelyn sounds really fancy; way too fancy to be put with Molly.

I have loves for the name Molly. Because I like the American Girl doll? I kinda like Evelyn too. They're old fashioned without being little old ladyish.
