i think theyre all pretty horrible, except grace, which is so common now i wouldnt use it anyway. oh wait, anabella is really nice too, but i would either take out one of the l's (anabela), or add an n (annabella).

all the others are pretty bad. and made up. just my opinion.

what are you trying to achieve by adding a's to ends of perfectly good names like karen, katherine, and brielle? how would you pronounce katherina? like katerina?

i have a friend of a friend whos name is aureanne (pronounced orr-ee-anne) - which i suspect might be similar to what youre trying to get out of oriana?

Get rid of:
Araxie - Doesn't seem to have a very attractive sound to i
Grace - I'm tired of it. Boring.
Anabella - I love Annabel, but don't see that the extra -a does anything good for it. Simpler is better.
Rosalynd - Don't like the look of this spelling at all.
Briella - Don't like the sound.

Opal - Nms but fine

Karena - Nice, I actually prefer Carina or Karina, but this is ok.

Araxie- It just doesn't flow to me. It is, however, the sort of name that could grow on you if paired with the right last name.
Karena- I think this looks pretty, but how do you pronounce it? ka-REN-ah or ka-RAY-na? I like the first pronunciation and dislike the second.
Oriana- I like this one.
Grace- I don't normally like simple names, but I actually really love the name Grace.
Anabella- I'm not so big on this name.
Eliana- Pretty, but not my style.
Rosalynd- I don't think I've ever liked this name.
Briella- I actually can't stand this name, maybe because I've seen too many Brielles and Brinas. They all just seem incomplete, like awkward shortening of the more common names Gabrielle/a and Sabrina.
Coral- I think this name is pretty.
Maren- I think this name is pretty, too.
Opal- This name might work if paired with the right last name, but I really don't like it much.
Katherina- I prefer other variations, such as Katharina and Katrina, so I'm not very big on this name.

I actually like a great deal of these names, except for the spelling. Names I'd veto:

Araxie: my only estimate of how to pronounce this sounds awful.
Karena: Ehhh...nothing special about it
Coral: I just don't like it. I prefer Cora.
Opal: Too old ladish for my tastes.

Names I like and why:

Oriana: I've always thought this was a lovely name, with a pretty meaning and history. It's quite underused.
Rosalynd: Spelled Rosalind, it's up there on my list of favorites.
Maren: Very cute...

As for the rest...

Grace: Simple, sweet. Makes a good middle name.
Anabella: I prefer Annabel, but nothing wrong with this version.
Eliana: Could be extremely pretty if you aren't put off by having a million pronounciations.
Briella: I like Brielle, except for the made up sounding factor.
Katherina: It's alright. I prefer Katharina since it's from The Taming of the Shrew

Araxie - I find this to be a horrible name, sorry. :( It sounds like some sort of pest removal company.

Karena- I like this name, it reminds me of the ocean.

Oriana- Very powerful sounding.

Grace- I like Grace, a classic IMO.

Anabella- Eh, it's okay. Sounds like the name of a bitter old lady. I'd prefer Annabella.

Eliana- I like it, I also like "Elli" as a nickname.

Rosalynd- Too old-ladyish.

Briella- Very cute.

Coral- Coral? Like sea coral? How about Cora? :)

Maren- Is this pronounced Mare-in or Mar-in? I like Mare-in.

Opal- Another oldish sounding name I'm not very fond of.

Araxie - Eek. that's possible one of the worst names ever. Is it made up?

Karena - Karina, maybe? KArina's much better. This one looks like Karen that someone stuck an a to for no reason.

Oriana - it's not objectionable, but I don't really like it.

Grace - nice, but it's everywhere.

Anabella - it looks weird with one n. Annabella, or Annabel, would be better, but I still hate this name - it sounds frilly and stuck-up.

Eliana - Meh. I think I've seen Iliana, which looks better.

Rosalynd - yuck. But spell it Rosalind, it it suddenly becomes nice.

Briella - I think Brielle is a terrible name, but adding an a to it makes it worse.

Coral - hmmm.... I kind of like this one.

Maren - This one's not bad... I knew a girl named Maran once (accent on first syllable, which rhymes with car). It suited her (although she had to tell people how to pronounce it every time).

Opal - I have a soft spot in my heart for this name, but I wouldn't use it (I like its look and meaning better than its sound...)

Katherina - why the a? There are plenty of non-made-up names based on Katherine that end in a. Katarina, Katrina, etc... Your version looks strange and I wouldn't be sure how to pronounce it.

Most of the people in this community are afraid of "different sounding" names. I think it's sad because there might be some names you love, but you're not going to get much positive comment on them, because they're unusual.

I know an Oriana (spelled just that way) and I like the name. She is a confident and attractive girl.

The only name I would take off of the list (both as a middle name, and as a first name) is Grace. Grace is off the charts trendy right now and I would not touch it with a ten foot pole. Yes it's beautiful, but you'll look like a huge copycat if you use it.

Good luck with your decisions. Take everyone's advice (including mine) with a grain of salt and go with what you love.

Anabella- ooooh beautiful, prefer Anabel but still love Anabella.
Rosalynd- Very pretty
Oriana- I like most 'ana' names- i like this too, but not the spelling...i like Auriana/Auriela au=Or) I also like Aurelia (or-ee-lee-uh)
Grace- blah blah boring, i'm sick to death of this name! But i can't say that there's nothing wrong with it.
Eliana-As i said i like 'ana' names, but i don't particuarly like this one.
Karena- Never liked this name, too harsh
Katherina- I don't like Katherine in any form- apart from polish (Kasia) & slavic (Katya)
Briella- Don't like at all. Bri names are goijng to be very dated in a couple of years.
Opal- Quite like it but it can't be shortened to anything remotely usable.
Coral- Old ladies name..
Maren- Don't like it... ryumes with barren.

Briella - Sounds like a cheese
Coral - In theory it's a good name, but it would be just too weird to wander around yelling out 'Coral! Coral! Where are you?' Probably a cultural thing, but people here would assume you were talking about coral from the reef and think you were crazy. Or they'd assume you were looking for a pet.
Maren - It looks like it's met to be another name like Maureen or Marian and it just doesn't work. Also reminds me of marinate.
