VOTE on my Name List

I've just finally made one.

They're divided up by how much I like them. The first block of boy names and girl names are my very very favorites, that I would use if I had a baby right now.

The next blocks are 'close seconds'. Names that I love, and would love to use, but they're just not the very top right now.

The next blocks are names that I like a lot, and probably would use.

Top Favorites:
William David, nn. Will
(David is the name of both of my grandfathers, and my dad's middle name.)
Samuel Barton, nn. Sam
(Barton is my dad's name.)
Mary Jane, nn.s Mary Jane, Mary, Janie
(Jane as the middle name. I made a post about this name before, and after all the comments I decided that I like it enough to use it.)
Evelyn Rosalie, nn. Evie, like "EE-vee", not "eh-vee".
(My sister's middle name is Rose, and my mom's name is Julie, and I feel like I'm honoring them both with Rosalie. Plus I really like the name, and if I don't use it as a middle name I might use it as a first name.)

Second Favorites:
Henry
(I love this name, but don't like any of the nicknames for it, or else it would be at the top.)
Jack
Jesse, nn. Jess
Maximillian, nn. Max
(I've loved this name ever since my mom's friend named her baby that when I was little, but I feel like Max is getting really popular, and I'd like it even better if it weren't.)
Wesley, nn. Wes
Adelaide, nn. Lady
(Someone on here made a post about this name/nickname combo one time, and I loved it, obviously, haha.)
Annelise, nn. Anna
Ellen, nn. Ellie
Lorelei, nn. Lora
(This used to be my favorite name, but I've recently come to hate a girl named Lauren, and they sound close enough that it's just made me like Lorelei a little less. Incedentally, Lauren used to be a name I loved, too.)
Marguerite, nn. Daisy
(Okay, I just posted a comment on someone's entry, she liked the name Daisy but wanted a proper name for it. And I remembered from high school French class that a marguerite is a flower similar to the daisy, also known as the Paris Daisy, so I thought it would be cute to name a girl Marguerite but use Daisy as a nickname. The name Marguerite is just the French form of Margaret, however, and means Pearl, but my name is also a form of Margaret and means Pearl, so it would kind of be like naming her after myself, but not directly, which I like.)

Third favorites:
Adam
(Wouldn't use this if I already had Evie.)
Andrew, nn. Andy or Drew
Caleb, nn. Cale, like "cayl", not like "cal" or "cal-ee" or whatever else it might look like.
Connor
Charles, nn. Charlie
James, nn. Jim/Jimmy, or maybe no nn.
Jasper
Jacob, nn. Jake
Joseph, nn. Joe/Joey
Lowden
(I also made a post about this name one time. It's the first of my two last names, and my mother's maiden name, and even though it's rather unconventional as a first name, I would feel like I was honoring that side of the family, since the name dies with me and my sister. Also, it is listed at babynamesworld.com, so I'm obviously not the first to consider using it, haha.)
Matthew, nn. Matt
Noah
(I used to like this name more before I realized how popular it was getting, too. I don't mind if a name is popular, really, but I wouldn't want my kid to be one of 6 in his class with the same name.)
Robert, nn. Rob/Robby
Charlotte, nn. Char or Lottie, but I detest Charlie on a girl.
Chloe
(This used to be my favorite name years ago, but then I had a cat named Chloe Belle who I adored, so now it would seem kind of weird to use the name on a baby.)
Fiona
Gretchen
(I go back and forth on whether I really like this name or just kind of like it. But it's also related to the name Margaret, like my name, so it would be another way of indirectly naming a baby after myself.)
Gwendolyn, nn. Wendy
(I like this name, but I mostly like the nickname Wendy. But it doesn't feel like a full name to me, I feel like it has to be a nickname from something else.)
Harriet, nn. Hattie
(I think this name is so pretty, and Hattie and Lottie would be such a cute sibset :D. But it used to be really popular and hasn't been for years and years, so it kind of seems like an old lady name.)
Rosalie, nn. Rosie
(Like I said, I would either use it as a middle name or a first name.)
Sophia, nn. Sophie
(Also was my favorite name at one point, but I've noticed it's gaining a lot of popularity, too.)
Susannah, nn. Susie
Sylvia, nn. Sylvie
Tessa, nn. Tess, or maybe no nn.
Violet
(I've just started loving this name, but it seems to be getting really popular as well, so I probably won't use it, since I didn't even like it before the trend.)
Vivian
(I love this name, but I don't really know what I'd use as a nickname, and I feel like it needs one.)
